Are you a driven, diligent, and commercially astute Sales Manager?

My client is a global manufacturer of cosmetics, working with the most luxurious brands in the industry. This is a rare opportunity as recruitment is incredibly infrequent; They pride themselves on offering clear development opportunities and succession plans internally. They also invest thousands into training to their management teams to be the most positive influential mentors to their teams.

The purpose of this role is to lead the Account Managers, whilst managing clearly defined Key Accounts which you will inherit from the business development teams. The successful candidate will have management experience of at least two direct reports, and strategic account management experience within either a contract manufacturer, or raw materials supplier.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high value key accounts, focusing on growing product ranges with those existing accounts
  • Manage team of seven Account Managers, with the support of the Sales Director. The Account Management team is highly efficient. They have responsibility for managing everything related to their accounts from P&L’s, cost management plans, forecasting, underwrites etc.
  • P&L Responsibility for key accounts inherited from business development team
  • Be a guardian of the commercial strategy and understand fully the focus areas at the beginning of each year. Build a focused plan to prioritise specific retailers at the beginning of the year.
  • Use information given to you by the Marketing and Innovation teams on the latest product and ingredient trends, and translate this information to your customers in a way which is bespoke to them

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience as a Key Account Manager at a senior level with a contract manufacturer, or ingredients supplier within the personal care product manufacturing industry
  • Management experience with at least two direct reports
  • Strong capabilities in Excel/PowerPoint skills to underpin rigorous commercial data understanding and sales presentation skills.
  • Driven & self-motivated, a strong planner and well organised.
  • Solve problems creatively for customers to balance the aims of the business whilst accommodating the key accounts needs
  • Strong NPD knowledge

My client is a rapidly growing, founder-led wellness brand. Due to global expansion, the opportunity to recruit a Global Account Manager has arisen to drive sales growth within their key accounts. With the support of the Account Manager, the purpose of this role is to manage and grow relationships with their existing retail partners in the UK and internationally.

The successful candidate will have experience managing grocer accounts such as Sainsburys, but ideally a broader range; they are also stock listed in luxury retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners to drive revenue growth and brand expansion.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet sales targets, focusing on account growth, product placement, and new market opportunities.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, in-store activations, and merchandising initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of product listings, promotions, and digital presence across all key accounts.
  • Lead efforts to grow the brand’s presence in travel retail and international markets, including staff training and merchandising execution.
  • Manage inventory coordination and account support, ensuring seamless order processing and fulfilment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, track account performance, and provide data-driven insights to refine strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing key accounts or driving sales within the FMCG, wellness or consumer products sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline ideal
  • At least 3 years of hands-on FMCG experience, including working with global retail chains and distribution networks.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales growth strategies, trade marketing initiatives, and retail partnerships.
  • Skilled in using customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and data-driven sales tools to streamline operations.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising, retail execution, and supply chain logistics to ensure smooth product distribution.
  • Previous experience in global retail expansion or travel retail markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content and drive impactful strategies that expand their reach and influence.
  • Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to grow our presence on Instagram as well as supplemental strategies for YouTube, TikTok, and TikTok Shop.
  • Manage the content calendar to keep our feed fresh, on-brand, and engaging.
  • Post and schedule content across all social media platforms
  • Analyze performance data, providing insights and recommendations to continuously improve engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
  • Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries
  • Organize and moderate live events, such as product launches and expert Q&A sessions.

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms, ideally within the food, wellness, or consumer goods industry.
  • Expertise in creating engaging content for Instagram
  • A creative mindset with strong storytelling skills.
  • The ability to interpret social media data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • A self-starter with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a love for connecting with an online audience.
